How to make a tulip from salt dough. Postcard from salt dough "Spring tulips"

Greetings, our dear guests, subscribers, friends and all visitors to our blog!

It walks across our country with bright, sunny steps! And, even though it will come to our region in a month and a half, my mood is also spring!

The first spring holiday has already passed - March 8, Palm Sunday is approaching, and after it - Easter! The sun shines brightly in the window, the indoor inhabitants - flowers - wake up from the winter slumber.

And also - a lot of activities are planned for the daughter for the upcoming holidays. And all of them are connected with Easter, Spring, Revival of Nature.

In the wake of such a spring mood, my daughters and I made such a postcard from salt dough “Spring Tulips”.

Our salt dough postcard

We needed:

* salt dough (how to cook it, and all about working with salt dough);

* glue type moment;

* gouache or other paints;

* a sheet of colored or white cardboard;

* colorless varnish.

So, a postcard from salt dough "Spring tulips".

1. Knead the salt dough. To do this, mix 1 tbsp. salt, 1 tbsp. (incomplete) water, 2 tbsp. flour.

2. We make flowers. Roll up three small balls, roll out slightly from the sides, making ovals. Roll them out with a rolling pin. Make cuts as shown in the photo.

3. Roll up sausages for stems and leaves. For stems, they are even, and for leaves, flatten in some places.

4. Dry all the details of the postcard in the oven at a low temperature.

5. Color the tulips as you wish. Let the paint dry well, varnish.

6. Bend a sheet of cardboard in half and glue all the details on it with glue.

7. When the glue dries, the salt dough postcard is ready. Sign it and it will be a wonderful gift for someone close to you, for Easter, Mother's Day or any other holiday.

Sincerely.
Elena Medvedeva.

Master class on making nesting dolls from salt dough. Dear colleagues, I suggest you look at the process of making nesting dolls from.

Outside Spring! Everything turns green. True, in Siberia so far only bird cherry is blooming, and FSE! That's why I decided to speed up this wonderful flowering process at least a little bit and ... debut! I sculpted a lot of things from salt dough, but flowers - for the first time! Here is such a joyful, spring-blooming result.

I must honestly tell you that the process of flowering tulips turned out to be quite laborious. The dough material is plastic, wonderful, but .. heavy. I mean, you put the tulip on the stove, and it collapses. I had to be smart. But it's all in the process. So mk. We need nothing at all: flour, salt for dough, kebab sticks (round), eggs from Kinder, modeling tools, a glue gun and a good mood.

We put an egg from Kinder on a stick.

We roll up such a small little egg from the dough and flatten it so that the middle is thicker and the edges are thinner.

By the way, you can play with color - mix two or three colors, you get a beautiful color, as close as possible to natural.

Then we press the petal to the egg and stretch it.

We decorate the edges of the leaves. At this stage, the petals can be imprinted with real or artificial leaves. Do not make the petals too long and do not press the tips too hard against the egg, otherwise it will be difficult to remove the bud from the egg later.

We collect 6 petals in this way, or seven, how is it with tulips? Here is the first trick - do not forget to make a small hole for attaching the stem. And there is absolutely no way to remove a bud from an egg without it! Further into the oven. We stick a kebab stick with a bud into a piece of foil, but I ran out of foil - I managed with an egg tray. We bake at a temperature of 50 degrees. not long before the bud hardens.

Get something like this. You can not dry it to the end, just remove the buds from the egg very carefully! They are fragile!

here's another button.

now the leaves: roll out the dough, cut out the leaves. we make grooves on them and cover with cling film so that they do not dry out - they will now be waiting for the stems.

roughly like this.

now the stem: paint the stick, wrap it with dough, level the tip, leave it.

now we wrap the leaf around the stem, level the junction.

now you need to give the sheet a natural look, make beautiful curves.

And the most difficult! so put in the oven and determine to dry so that the leaves do not come off! For me, this stage was the most difficult.

Now the second sheet is the same as the first.

and here is the pestle - just sculpt it, use a Phillips screwdriver to decorate the top

Hot glue lubricates the stem, dress the bud, attach the pestle.

glue on the bottom. I think you can try to do it without glue, just with a test, but somehow it didn’t work out for me. Glue melts in the oven, but gives the necessary fixation.

here is the first tulip!
