Bag for the New Year. New Year's gift bags: choosing children's New Year's bags

Place a candle inside and light it. The light will fall as if from the windows of magical snow-covered houses.

What do you need

  • light paper;
  • pencil;
  • black marker;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • glass jar;
  • sponge;
  • White paint.

How to do

Place a sheet of paper horizontally and draw on it the outlines of a winter city: snowdrifts, trees, houses with windows, a lantern. Color in the shapes with a black marker and cut them out along the outline. Make windows for houses.

Now glue the paper along the bottom edge of the can. Using a sponge, lightly cover the glass and the outline of the city with white paint, imitating snow.

2. Christmas tree from a magazine

Two in one: we decorate the house and get rid of old printed publications.

What do you need

  • magazine;
  • glue gun;
  • gold spray paint;
  • red and gold foamiran with glitter or red and gold paper with glitter;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • beads

How to do

Place the magazine so that the spine is on the left. Fold the first sheet, connecting the top edge to the left. Fold the lower right corner towards the middle.

In the same way, deal with the remaining sheets. Open the magazine approximately in the middle and go along the fold with a glue gun. Fold the right sheet, gluing its edge to the middle of the magazine.

Flip over the glued part, cover the center of the magazine with glue again and glue the next sheet. Do the same with the remaining sheets. You will end up with a cone. Cover it with spray paint.

On the back of foamiran or paper, draw two identical large gold stars and several smaller red and gold stars. Carefully cut them out.

Connect two large stars with the sparkles facing out and glue them to the top of the tree. Place the rest of the stars and beads on the New Year's tree.

3. Santa Claus from a tin can

What do you need

  • double sided tape;
  • can;
  • beige foamiran;
  • scissors;
  • colored fabric;
  • glue gun;
  • white faux fur;
  • blush;
  • wide brush;
  • white felt;
  • black paint;
  • White paint;
  • brush;
  • gold ribbon.

How to do

Place tape at the bottom, top and middle of the jar. Wrap the cylinder with foamiran and cut off the excess. Glue the edges of the foamiran with double-sided tape.

Wrap colored fabric around the top of the jar and glue it with a gun. Wrap the edges of a narrow strip of fur inside and glue it together. Place the resulting strip along the top of the jar.

Use blush to draw the cheeks of Santa Claus. Cut out a mustache from white felt, and a round nose from the remains of beige foamiran. Glue them to the jar.

Draw the eyes with black and white paint. Glue eyebrows from white felt on top. Wrap the gold ribbon around the colored fabric and tie it in a pretty bow.

4. Wreath made of paper napkins

This beauty can be placed on a table or attached to a wall.

What do you need

  • 5 round openwork paper napkins;
  • pencil;
  • ruler;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • cardboard;
  • White paper;
  • glue gun;
  • small artificial fir branches with cones;
  • red artificial berries;
  • White paint;
  • brush;
  • red bow.

How to do

Cut each of the three napkins into four equal parts and roll them into cones, brushing the edges with glue.

Cut a circle with a diameter of 10 cm from cardboard. Cover it with glue on one side and glue it to white paper. Cut a circle out of it, retreating 1–2 cm from the edges of the cardboard.

Make vertical cuts on the paper. Grease the edges of the cardboard circle with glue on the back side and glue the cut paper to it.

Glue whole napkins to the circle on both sides. Mark the middle on the one that ends up on the front of the workpiece. Using a glue gun, place the prepared napkin cones in a circle.

Glue spruce branches and berries to the center of the wreath. Lightly coat them with white paint to imitate snow. Place a bow under the composition.

5. Christmas vase

This craft can be used as a stand for writing instruments or cosmetics, as a candlestick, or simply as a beautiful decorative element.

What do you need

  • notebook sheets of paper;
  • glue;
  • glass beaker;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • gold spray paint;
  • twine;
  • wooden decorative elements.

How to do

Roll the sheet diagonally into a thin tube, periodically brushing the paper with glue. Place the workpiece vertically against the glass and cut it approximately to its height.

Make enough tubes to cover the entire glass. It is better if they are slightly different in length.

Attach them to the glass using a glue gun. Cover the future vase with paint outside and inside. Wrap pieces of twine around the bottom and top and glue the wood decor in the middle.

6. New Year's gnome made of fabric

A cozy decor element in Scandinavian style.

What do you need

  • colored fabric;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • white faux fur;
  • wire;
  • gray fleece;
  • black felt;
  • wooden ball;
  • Christmas decoration.

How to do

Wrap the cone in fabric, cut off the excess and glue with a glue gun. From the fur, cut out a beard in the shape of an elongated diamond and a long mustache that looks like the letter “L”.

Glue the beard to the cone. It should take up most of it. At the top, part the fur and place the mustache so that the beard hangs slightly over it. This will make the figure more voluminous.

Cut a piece of wire approximately the length of the cone and insert it into the top of the workpiece. Wrap the fleece around the wire so that it extends slightly over the beard. Cut off the excess, connect the fleece to the cone and secure the edges of the fabric with glue.

Cut out eyes from felt and glue them under the hat. Below, place the gnome's nose - a wooden ball, and glue a New Year's decoration onto the hat.

Cute gnomes can also be made from scrap materials. This video shows how to make them from socks:

7. Bottle toy

When looking at this decoration, you can hardly guess what it is made of.

What do you need

  • stationery knife;
  • 2 plastic bottles with a volume of 1.5 l;
  • yellow paint;
  • brush;
  • wire;
  • 6 Christmas balls;
  • PVA glue or acrylic glue;
  • gold glitter;
  • glue gun;
  • red narrow ribbon;
  • 3 red bows;
  • decorative flower with sparkles.

How to do

Cut the bottles slightly above the middle. Use a utility knife to make a hole in the center of each lid. Cover the caps with yellow paint and cover the bottles with them.

Thread a piece of wire into the caps so that its ends are in the bottles and a loop is formed on top. Place three balls on each end and twist with wire. The balls must be inside the bottles.

Coat the outside of the bottles with glue and cover with glitter, leaving a small strip along the bottom edge. Attach a red narrow ribbon to it using a glue gun.

Glue the bows together. Twist the top of the wire slightly over the bottle caps. Using a glue gun, cover the twisted area with a bow and glue a decorative flower onto it.

8. Volumetric snowman made of threads

If you insert a garland into this cute snowman, he will decorate the room even at night.

What do you need

  • 2 balloons;
  • scotch;
  • white yarn;
  • scissors;
  • PVA glue;
  • water;
  • needle;
  • 2 thin wooden branches;
  • glue gun;
  • black double-sided paper or cardboard;
  • colored tape;
  • colored fabric;
  • 2 black buttons;
  • cardboard;
  • orange paint;
  • brush.

How to do

Inflate the balloons and tie the ends. One ball should be slightly smaller than the other. Glue them together with tape to form a snowman. Tie the gluing area with yarn so that the balls are even closer to each other. Cut off the remaining thread.

In a wide plate, combine glue and water in equal proportions. Moisten the yarn thoroughly with the resulting mixture and wrap the balls tightly. The thread should cover most of their surface. Leave the workpiece until completely dry. To speed up the process a little, you can use a hairdryer.

Pierce the balls in several places with a needle and carefully remove the rubber through the holes. Cut some thread at the bottom of the snowman so he can stand. Insert branches on the sides - these will be his hands - and secure with a glue gun.

To make the hat, cut out a rectangle from black paper and glue its edges together. You can also take a toilet paper roll and paint it black.

Cut out two circles from paper: the diameter of the resulting tube and a larger one. Glue the smaller one on top. Cut the larger one in the middle and connect it to the bottom of the hat. Wrap the crown with colored ribbon.

Apply glue to the brim of the hat and attach it to the snowman's head. Wrap a rectangular piece of fabric around the neck, glue its edges to each other and to the bottom ball. Place buttons nearby.

Make a small cone out of cardboard, paint it orange and glue it in the middle of the top ball. Cut out a mouth and eyes from black paper and place them next to the snowman's nose.

9. Volumetric Christmas tree made of threads

This Christmas tree is made according to the same principle as a three-dimensional snowman. But there are a couple of important nuances.

What do you need

  • a cone-shaped foam blank;
  • stationery pins;
  • PVA glue;
  • water;
  • white yarn;
  • beads;
  • glue gun

How to do

Wrap the foam in film and pierce it in several places with pins. Thanks to the film, the workpiece will be easier to remove, and the pins will help the thread hold in place.

Combine glue and water in equal proportions and thoroughly moisten the yarn in the mixture. Wrap the workpiece with threads, catching them with pins. Leave overnight to allow the tree to dry completely.

Remove the needles and carefully remove the workpiece. Place beads on top using a glue gun.

10. New Year's Crescent

An unusual version of the usual New Year's wreath.

What do you need

  • plywood or cardboard;
  • twine;
  • PVA glue;
  • sponge;
  • White paint;
  • 2 cones;
  • wooden decorative snowflake;
  • glue gun;
  • small artificial spruce branches;
  • silver Christmas ball;
  • white decorative braid with pompoms;
  • silver artificial berries;
  • brush;
  • wooden bead.

How to do

Using a jigsaw or scissors, cut out a crescent-shaped piece from plywood or cardboard. Make a small hole at the top and insert a piece of twine there - the future loop.

Gradually lubricating the workpiece with glue, wrap it tightly with twine. Using a sponge, apply a little white paint to the rope and pine cones, imitating frost. Paint the wooden snowflake completely.

Using a glue gun, attach the snowflake to the bottom of the crescent moon with most of it sticking out over the edge.

Glue fir branches nearby, and on them - cones and a ball. Arrange pom pom string and berries.

Using a brush, lightly tint the branches with white paint. Insert a wooden bead into the string that is threaded through the top hole and tie the thread with knots at the bottom and top.

11. Christmas tree made of ribbons

What do you need

  • pencil;
  • White paper;
  • scissors;
  • green cardboard;
  • stapler;
  • red narrow ribbon;
  • green narrow ribbon;
  • white narrow ribbon;
  • glue gun;
  • pink foamiran with glitter or pink paper with glitter;
  • gold glitter.

How to do

Make a template out of white paper as shown in the video. Place it on green cardstock, trace and cut out. Fold the piece in half and fasten it at the bottom with a stapler.

Cut strips 12 cm long from the ribbons and glue the edges of each of them. Attach them to the workpiece in a circle: the bottom row is red, the next is green, then red, green, red and white.

Cut out two identical stars from foamiran or paper, glue them together and place them on the top of the tree. Sprinkle the New Year's craft with glitter.

Sweet gift

I remember as a child, you wake up in the morning and a surprise awaits you under the Christmas tree. Colorful rustling wrapper, fruits and candies. At that time, parents themselves collected sweet bags: tangerines, caramels, chocolates, but candy bars were rare. At matinees, too, it was not possible to do without a gift, but factory bags were often even simpler than homemade ones.

Today's children are lucky - the variety of sweets is limited only by their parents' wallets. And now they don’t need to bother too much: all the shelves of shopping centers and small grocery stores are stocked with ready-made sweet gifts.

On the eve of the holiday, we decided to check what is hidden behind the beautiful wrappers and how much the finished sweet gift will cost.

So, we choose the most ordinary shopping center. There is a festive atmosphere everywhere here: tinsel, costumes, Christmas tree decorations, and here are the sweets - the display case with bags immediately catches your eye. There are gifts of different shapes and colors on the shelves: the marketers have done their best - you immediately want to pick up the most colorful ones. Here is a package in the shape of the symbol of the New Year - a sheep, and this one is the “bag of Santa Claus”. Prices for gifts range from 100 rubles per 200 grams to 2500 rubles per kilogram. Adds value to the gift and its design, as well as the presence of toys or other necessary items such as a pencil case or backpack.

In order not to spoil the New Year's holiday, Rospotrebnadzor advises to take a responsible approach to choosing a bag: you need to check the gift on the spot, request documents confirming quality and safety, and pay attention to expiration dates. This is what we do during the experiment. It is not immediately possible to find all the information about the product, some are covered with a barcode, some are written in very small font. The desire to purchase such a gift immediately disappears: it seems that the manufacturer (seller) wants to hide important information from us. Having checked a dozen different bags, especially those that are farthest away, we could not find expired ones (which is good news). But still, intuition tells us: without looking at the expiration date, you can only take a New Year's bag, the box of which is decorated taking into account future symbol of the year.

Due to the fact that we choose gifts for a long time and inspect them so meticulously, we attract the attention of the sales consultant. We would like to take this opportunity to bring documents confirming quality. However, the store employee responded by asking an unexpected question: are we wholesale buyers? A woman came to the rescue, answering in the affirmative. The seller immediately went to get the documents: it’s clear that wholesale buyers are more welcome here. After talking with the buyer, we find out that the quality certificate was requested from the parent committee in the kindergarten. You can't go anywhere without documents.

We check the sweet gifts further according to the Rospotrebnadzor list. There are bags that are “tightly” sealed, but the main information is presented on the packaging: expiration date, list of products, importer, country of manufacture, information for contacting them, the minimum age of the child for whom the toy is intended, or a pictogram indicating the age of the child, everything , as expected, in Russian. Other gifts can be opened and the composition examined in more detail, while the candies are sealed in individual packaging.

Despite the fact that the choice of sweet gifts is huge, many Magnitogorsk residents prefer to collect the New Year's bag themselves.

This allows you to make the gift more varied: choose candies to suit your taste, put cookies, fruits, perhaps even some kind of souvenir in the bag,” notes Lyubov. - In addition, this approach will come in handy if children are of different ages. For example, you can’t give a one-year-old baby chocolates anymore, in this case I replace sweets with juice, cookies, and a toy.

Kindergartens are not left behind. After all, you need to have time to buy the gifts that each child will receive at the matinee.

Last year there were only sweets in bags. This year the gifts will come with a toy, that’s what the parents decided,” said Irina, a kindergarten teacher. - Collecting money for bags and Santa Claus is carried out either by the parent committee or by the teacher. More often, this work is entrusted to educators. We ourselves go to the toy base and buy gifts based on age.

“Their composition is very important, the presence of accompanying documentation confirming the quality and safety of the products and packaging material, expiration dates and storage conditions of the products, the presence of an insert leaflet indicating the list of products included in the gift. All food products must comply with the requirements of technical regulations, state standards, regulatory and technical documentation, the integrity of the packaging and clear labeling must be ensured. Toys included in children's gifts must be safe. A toy contained in food products and (or) sold together with a food product must have its own packaging,” the agency notes.

Responsibility for assembling New Year's gifts lies with the heads of wholesale warehouses and retail enterprises in terms of compliance with the storage conditions of the products of gift sets, the availability of documents confirming the quality and safety of these products.

You can't buy a stove!

For older children, the holiday is organized at school. Competitions, games, quizzes, and, of course, tea with pies and sweets.

Just 10-15 years ago, children brought home-baked goods and cookies made by their mothers and grandmothers to school. However, now Rospotrebnadzor, in its published requirements for the safe recreation of children during the winter holidays, considers it necessary to exclude home-made food.

“When holding New Year’s events that are accompanied by tea parties in organized children’s groups, it is necessary to exclude homemade baked goods and cream confectionery from the children’s diet,” the department reports.

Parents of schoolchildren have not heard of such a ban.

There will be a New Year’s tea party, but they didn’t tell us that we couldn’t bring homemade cakes,” says the eighth-grader’s mother, Daria. - Of course, now we mostly buy sweets for school, not like before. The choice in stores, as they say, is for every taste and budget.

But there are also those who prefer homemade baked goods to store-bought sweets.

I bake it myself, firstly, it’s inexpensive, and secondly, in home-baked goods you know exactly what you put in: jam, berries, sugar, there are no dyes or other harmful substances,” says the mother of a second-grader, Elena.

On vacation - to camp

During the winter holidays, hiking and tourist trips are often carried out.

Last year, we went to a camp in the winter for seven days,” says the sixth-grader’s mother, Anna. - The initiator and organizer was the parent committee. We are planning this year too.

When organizing trips, Rospotrebnadzor recommends that responsible persons enter into a contract for transport that has passed a technical inspection.

“It is prohibited to transport children in unheated vehicles. All these factors are unsafe for the life and health of children. For the transportation of organized groups of children by rail, there are sanitary and epidemiological requirements SanPiN 2.5.1277-03, according to which a group of children must be accompanied by a medical worker, drinking conditions and meals must be organized along the route. Organizers of children’s collective trips coordinate with the Rospotrebnadzor Department the range of products included in the travel kit - “packed rations”, and provide meals for children from such kits along the route,” the department noted.

If the managers and responsible persons of children's institutions comply with all the necessary requirements when holding public events and organizing recreation during the winter holidays, then the New Year holidays will take place without any incidents that have adverse consequences for the safety and health of the younger generation.

With full requirements for safe holidays for children during the winter holidays in 2015. can be found on the website of Rospotrebnadzor for the Chelyabinsk region.

Many people notice that the older they get, the more difficult it is to re-experience that magical feeling of a fairy tale and miracle that always came to us as children on New Year's Eve.

But we're in website We are sure that the New Year's mood will not keep you waiting if you make one of these wonderful decorations for your home and Christmas tree with your own hands. Almost all of them, with the exception of two or three, do not require much time and any special materials - they can be made in half an hour from what is at hand.

Stars made of threads

Wreath made of balloons and an old hanger

In just half an hour, you can make a colorful wreath by purchasing a couple of sets of inexpensive balloons. Blogger Jennifer, the author of this article, recommends straightening out an old hanger, but if you don't have one, a piece of strong wire will do just fine.

  • You will need: a couple of sets of balls (20-25 balls of different colors and sizes), a wire hanger or wire, fir branches, braid or a ready-made decoration for decorating a wreath.

Tablecloth made of snowflakes

A delicate and surprisingly festive tablecloth will be made from snowflakes, which we have gotten our hands on since childhood. You can sit down and cut out snowflakes with the whole family, and then lay them out on the table and fasten them with small pieces of tape. A wonderful solution for entertaining guests or just having lunch with the family during the holidays.

Multi-colored hats

The cutest colored hats can be made from leftover yarn, which can be used to make a garland for a Christmas tree or to decorate a wall. Or hang them on a window or chandelier at different levels. Children over five years old will also be great at making this simple decoration. See details.

  • You will need: a roll of toilet paper for rings (or regular cardboard or thick paper), scissors, colorful yarn and a good mood.

Lamp “Snowy City”

For this charming lamp, you need to measure a piece of paper around the circumference of the jar with a small margin (for gluing), draw and cut out a simple city or forest landscape. Wrap it around the jar and place a candle inside.

  • You will need: a jar, thick paper of any color, maybe white, any candle. Another option is to cover the top of the jar with “falling snow” using a special “snow” spray, which is sold in hobby stores.

Balloons with photos

A great idea for decorating a Christmas tree or as a gift for relatives and friends. The photo needs to be rolled into a tube so that it fits into the hole of the ball, and then straightened out with a wooden stick or tweezers. Small black and white rectangular photographs are suitable, and you can also cut the photo according to the shape of a ball or silhouette (as in the case of a cat in the snow).

  • You will need: plastic or glass balls, photographs, various things to fill the ball - tinsel, garlands, coarse salt (for snow).

New Year's lamps

And this miracle is a matter of five minutes. It is enough to collect balls, fir branches, cones and put them in a transparent vase (or a cute jar) and add glowing garlands.

Embers

Glowing garlands, hidden among cones, branches and pine paws, create the effect of smoldering coals in the fireplace or a cozy fire. They even seem to be heating up. For this purpose, a basket that has been lying on the balcony for a hundred years, a nice bucket or, for example, a wicker container for small items from Ikea will be suitable. You will find everything else (except for the garland, of course) in the park.

Floating candles

A very simple decoration for the New Year's table or for a cozy evening with friends during the New Year holidays - a composition with candles floating in a vessel with water, cranberries and pine branches. You can use cones, orange slices, fresh flowers and leaves from a flower shop - whatever your imagination tells you. And as a candlestick - deep plates, vases, jars, glasses, the main thing is that they are transparent.

Snowman on the refrigerator or door

Children will definitely be delighted with this - it’s fast, fun and very simple, because even a three-year-old can handle cutting out large parts. It is enough to cut out circles, a nose and a scarf from self-adhesive paper, wrapping paper or colored cardboard and attach them to regular or double-sided tape.

Snowflakes on the window

Interesting use for a glue gun lying around. In order to glue these snowflakes to the glass, just lightly press them to the surface. For details see our video.

  • You will need: a stencil with a snowflake drawn with a black marker, tracing paper (parchment, baking paper), a glue gun and a little patience.

Christmas trees-candies

You can build bright Christmas trees with your kids for a children's party or decorate a festive table with them. Cut out triangles from colored paper or cardboard, attach with tape to a toothpick and stick the resulting Christmas trees into the candies.

  • You will need: Hershey's Kisses or any other truffle candies, toothpicks, tape, colored paper or cardboard with a design.

Garland with photographs and drawings

New Year, Christmas - warm, family holidays. And it will come in very handy with photographs, children's drawings, and pictures. The easiest way to secure them is with clothespins, which can be decorated with hearts or snowflakes.

Origami star

Painted spoons

Ordinary metal spoons or wooden cooking spoons are transformed into interesting New Year's decorations using acrylic paints. Kids will definitely love this idea. If you bend the handle of metal spoons, you can hang them on the Christmas tree. And wooden spoons will look great in the kitchen or in a bouquet with fir branches.

There are two candy holidays in Russia: March 8 and New Year. On the eve of the celebrations, people rushed to stores to buy candy. Classic “Karakum”, “Bear in the North”, “Alenka”, “Mask”, modern “Kinder”, Soviet “Burevestnik”, “Swallow”, “Citron”, various monpensiers, lollipops, chocolate figurines and other joys are shoved in abundance in beautiful packaging and waiting in the wings. We tried to learn all the secrets of sweet gifts from professionals.

Candy variety

There is more than one wholesale candy store in Yakutsk, which for the New Year, in addition to selling by weight, offers ready-made sets and the opportunity to assemble a gift yourself. Having gone to one of them, we were amazed at the variety of choices. The store has several hundred types of sweets, ranging from caramels and toffees to expensive truffles and famous brands. As Anastasia, the seller of the Caramel wholesale base, told us, New Year’s sets have been available since the end of October, the “rush hour” for buying candy has not yet arrived, but people are very active. Parent committees of schools, kindergartens, trade union committees of organizations buy ready-made gifts in dozens, hundreds and prepare them themselves, buying sweets by weight. There are dozens of types of ready-made gifts. Prices range from 150 to 2500 rubles, it all depends on the filling and packaging.

Many people refuse to take Roshen candies, citing patriotism. And they continue to arrive in Yakutsk wholesale stores.

Types of candies

The following are the most popular types of sweets:

caramel;

chocolate candies;

iris;

soufflé candies;

licorice candies;

truffles;

marzipan;

fondant candies;

fruit candies;

milk sweets;

liqueur sweets;

lollipops;

cream sweets;

grilled nut candies;

jelly candies;

candied sweets;

dragee

sweets with filling between layers of waffles.

sweets with whipped filling or soufflé.

multi-layer or combined candies.

You have every right to ask the seller or store manager to show the entire list of sweets that are inside

Lollipops are waiting for summer

The leaders among New Year's candies are “Red October” “Mask”, “Bear in the North”, “Karakum”, “Cancer necks” and so on. The most popular candies from the Slavyanka factory are “Levushka”, “Eker”, “Kuriez”, “Baked milk”. “RotFront” is the well-known “Korovka”, halva in golden-red foil, “Bird’s milk”, “Grillage”. There is also “Rakhat” - “Magic”, “Romeo” and others. The Kinder brand is popular both in wholesale and retail stores. This set includes a variety of types: “Kinder Country”, “Kinder Chocolate”, “Kinder Delis”, an egg with a toy and so on. As Miroslava Arsenyeva, a store seller at the Covered Market, comments, people are very knowledgeable about candy factories. They ask, for example, to assemble a set entirely from only “Red October” or “Kinder”. Many people refuse to take Roshen candies, citing patriotism. And they continue to arrive in wholesale stores in Yakutsk, and people do not stop buying them in sets. Now parents are trying to ensure that the sets contain as few caramel candies as possible. Lollipops are considered unpopular in winter; their turn, as we were told at the wholesale store, comes in summer.

Surprises of ready-made gifts

Those who do not have time to compose a gift themselves can buy a ready-made one. But if in a specialized store they are displayed on a display with all its contents, then in retail markets and ordinary stores it’s like a pig in a poke. Beautiful packaging may contain sad content. As one employee shares with us, she bought her sons two identical sets of sweets in one of the city’s supermarkets. When she and the children unwrapped the gifts, it turned out that one set of luxury chocolates had more, and the other had more caramel, and one had a large toy, and the other had a small one. There were tears. The woman did not go to the store to return it. You have every right to ask the seller or manager to show the entire list of candies that are inside; in some sets from the factories themselves, all the candies are listed on the packaging (for example, “Kinder” and “Inspiration”). As seller Miroslava Arsenyeva shares, she opens the packages and shows the contents, and, if necessary, lets them taste.

Homemade sweets

Housewife Rosa Ivanova makes chocolate with her own hands, wraps it in foil and adds it to sets: “It turns out much tastier and unusual, individually. The recipe is simple. Take butter (the amount is an eyeball; in fact, the more butter, the more chocolate there will be), you can cut it into pieces (it will melt faster and more evenly) and put it in a saucepan on the fire. When the oil boils, add sugar and cocoa to it. Sugar - to taste, as you like. Cocoa - by eye, pour with one hand, stir with the other. We stop adding cocoa when the consistency of the mass is from thick sour cream to when it is no longer easy to mix with a spoon (but it is better not to bring it to this extreme state). Then cook for another minute or two, stirring. Remove from heat, leave to cool, and into the freezer (if desired, you can pour it from the pan into something, more on this below). The more cocoa, the more bitter and hard the chocolate will be.”

Tara

If you are going to collect the gift yourself, then it is important to choose a container for the sweets. There are cardboard packages, tin cans, soft toys, plastic bags, fabric bags, wooden chests, even plastic bottles that look like champagne - in general, a variety of things. Prices in a wholesale store range from 14 to 120 rubles per piece. In stores - 30-100 rubles more expensive. Every year their design changes, there are many packages with the symbol of the year - plush lambs and goats, cardboards with the image of the symbol of the year, they are even embroidered and glued on handbags. Here you can simply choose according to your taste.

If we, adults, give taste and quality, then for many children, as parents say, candy is just one big tasty mass, it doesn’t always matter to them whether the toffees are in the set or the truffles are expensive, various little bonuses are important to them. And if earlier they were apples and tangerines for candies, now they are various lollipops, toys, dragees, and so on. They can also be bought at the “wholesale”, and can also be purchased in retail stores. “Tangerines and apples are a thing of the past, now for girls they take toys like “Monster High”, “Pony”, for boys - “Cars”, they put in lollipops, lollipops, New Year’s sticks, from two to 60 rubles, there are also different airplanes , pistols with dragees and marmalades attached to them, chocolate figures of Santa Claus, various animals, marshmallows, marshmallows, chocolate eggs, my son really loves “trinkets” - these are liquid candies,” shares Anastasia. Miroslava says that the gift can be supplemented with real Belgian chocolate, which is sold there.

There is chocolate for diabetics, sugar-free candies with sorbet and fructose.

Unusual sets

As Miroslava Arsenyeva told us, she received quite interesting orders for sweets. For example, one girl asked for five thousand rubles to put together a set of only red candies, and she asked for a second set only of brown ones. It turned out that one was for a woman, the other was for a man. There is chocolate for diabetics, sugar-free sweets with sorbet and fructose - there is a large choice. People take handmade chocolate from Belgium and Italy and add chocolate animal figures.

How to make a set yourself?

“Every New Year’s gift must contain at least 100 grams of Red October candy. If you stuff a gift with simple ones for 350 rubles per kilogram, it won’t turn out very well,” says Miroslava. Anastasia advises adding different toys to the set, as children love these very much, you can also add cookies and unusual sweets.

A ready-made gift versus a hand-assembled one. Who will win?

We decided to find out what is more profitable and of better quality - buy a ready-made set or assemble it yourself? To do this, we bought a ready-made gift for the average price of 450 rubles in a wholesale store (in a retail store the same would have cost 500-600 rubles) and collected a gift for the same amount ourselves in a retail store. As it turned out, in wholesale stores everything is counted by half a kilogram, but one piece of candy can only be collected in a retail candy store.

Ready set - 48 candies

Weight: 890 grams for 450 rubles.

We chose the ready-made set according to a simple principle: “Give us the most popular one.” They didn’t even look closely at its contents, although everything was on display in the window. In our presence, several women diligently wrote down in notebooks all the names of the candies presented on the display case, took photographs and loudly praised it: “The most successful set of candies, everything is there: chocolates and slimes.”

Total: the set contains 48 candies, of which seven elite chocolate candies of the brands “Red October”, “Rot Front”, 34 mediocre ones, a package of marmalade, a monpensier in a tin box, chewing gum with a toy, a lollipop, an acid pastille, a large wafer in chocolate, fruit bar.

DIY - 64 candies

Weight: 910 grams for 450 rubles.

Here we focused only on elite class chocolates, collected handfuls of “Squirrel”, “Karakum”, “Martian”, “Golden Cockerel”, small “Twix” and “Snickers”, various truffles, waffles, halva, grilled meats, The seller put both Soviet “Romashka” and “Citron” in our hands. She said: “What would a New Year’s gift be without Soviet sweets from our childhood? Take it! Each handful of candies of different brands with the same price per kilogram was counted out loud to us: 33 rubles, 26 rubles, 77 rubles, 143 rubles - in general, this is how we collected a heavy bag worth exactly 450 rubles.

Total: we got 64 candies, all chocolate, but not a single “bonus” like marshmallows, marmalade and “toys”.

Conclusion

Although the weight of the gifts is almost the same, the set you assemble yourself includes more candies, and the finished set takes on a lot of weight from a tin box of candies and a plastic toy with chewing gum. In a box assembled with your own hands, all the candies are only chocolate, everything is to your taste, all the weight is taken up by the chocolate, but perhaps the child will find it boring, because variety is important for children. Seeing these two sets in the photo, you will say that in the one we assembled with our own hands, we saved on packaging by buying a simple bag with a pattern, but no, it costs more than the cardboard container from the first set: 14 to 20 rubles. But the general conclusion is this: if you value quality and have a certain taste, then collect the gift yourself, it will cost you less. And if you like surprises, trying something new, different fun things that you wouldn’t buy in a store yourself, then take a ready-made one, but most likely it will cost you a little more.

New Year is a favorite childhood holiday. And a gorgeous Christmas tree with huge glass balls, shimmering garland and dazzlingly shiny tinsel has nothing to do with it. During the times of a happy, carefree childhood, we were absolutely delighted with New Year's gifts. Just remember these huge rustling bags of candies or sometimes melted chocolate Santa Clauses, wrapped in colorful foil, and from year to year we certainly received shaped cookies in a paper wrapper as gifts. What a joy it was to open such a gift, inhale the mixture of sugary smells and begin to sort through all sorts of goodies, put aside tasteless caramels, choose large candies with a mysterious filling and, while looking at all this happiness, thoughtfully chew marmalade.

We have all grown up a long time ago, but we still continue to love sweets. New Year is traditionally considered a family holiday, and even if you celebrate it not with your family, then certainly with loved ones whom you want to surprise and please. And we are used to surprising and delighting with the help of gifts. A gift made by your own hands will be very original and simply incredibly pleasant. Of course, it may be some cute souvenir that will be sighed over and sent to gather dust on a shelf, but we suggest giving a tasty gift that can really make an impression and be remembered. However, before you give a delicious gift, you need to take care of its design. So, let's start compiling and decorating original gifts.

A homemade gift sounds great, but all these are not just words, so arm yourself with sweet dough, a rolling pin and other culinary tools. Cookies are invariably present in all gifts. But which one? The kind that you can buy by going to the first grocery store you come across. This option is absolutely not suitable for us. So, we buy shortbread dough, or, if we know how, we make it ourselves, add raisins, nuts or cinnamon if desired, take out the molds and cut out beautiful cookies. While the cookies are browning in the oven, prepare the icing from powdered sugar and simple syrup; if you want the cookies to be bright, add a little food coloring to the icing. Make a bag out of baking paper, and while the icing is still hot, pour it into this bag, cut off a corner to make a hole no larger than 1-2 mm and draw snowflakes on the cookies or paint them with any winter patterns to your taste. Once the cookies have cooled, wrap them in clear wrapping paper and tie with brightly colored lace or ribbon.

Surely among your family and friends there will be many lovers of cakes and marzipan. To make the cakes, you will need tartlets, which you can buy in grocery supermarkets, as well as marzipan, which you can also buy or try to make yourself. Place your favorite cream in the tartlet - protein cream, boiled condensed milk, whipped cream or butter. Using cookie cutters or a stencil made from cardboard or paper, cut out marzipan stars, snowflakes or any other shapes and cover the tart with them. You will get an original delicious cake. From the remains of marzipan you can make a symbol of the New Year - a hare - and decorate a cake with it or give it to someone as a separate gift.

A gift made from handmade sweets will look very solemn. It’s easy to make such sweets, from 150 grams of dried apples, 150 grams of walnuts, 2 tbsp. spoons of honey, juice of half a lemon, pine nuts, cinnamon and dark chocolate powder or chocolate powder. Chop dried apples and walnuts, mix them, add lemon juice, honey and cinnamon and mix well. Roll the resulting mass into balls, not forgetting to put several grains of pine nuts in them. Roll each ball in dark chocolate powder or chocolate powder. You will get very tasty and healthy candies. Now it is important to pack them correctly. Select a small box of light brown or beige color, cut out a square from baking paper equal to the length of the side of the box multiplied by 2.5. Place the paper in the box, place the candies on it, cover with the paper and close the box with a lid. Tie the gift with a wide, deep chocolate-colored ribbon.

If the main thing in a gift is brightness and fun, then the next idea is for you. More and more often, so-called marshmallow sticks and small multi-colored marshmallows are being sold in grocery stores, especially in children's departments. You can use the emerging innovations as New Year's gifts. Buy some marshmallow sticks and some colored marshmallows. Cut the sticks into pieces 3-4 cm long. Make several bags from bright wrapping paper, decorate them with bright ribbons, braid and beads. Fill the bags with marshmallows and present your gift. The phrase “bag of candy” has long become common, and such a visual representation simply cannot go unnoticed.

Continuing the theme of bright sweets, it’s worth mentioning marmalade. Marmalade is perhaps the most colorful and varied sweet product. A marmalade gift depends entirely on your imagination and the recipient’s sense of humor. On store shelves you will find the most ordinary shaped marmalade in sugar, gummy bears, cars, all kinds of marmalade rings, citrus slices and berries. Take everything that your keen eye falls on. Also, to form a gift you will need completely transparent jars. Just pour the marmalade you like into the jar and close it tightly. The gift can be decorated with a ribbon tied around the lid, or a label made of paper and attached to the jar, on which you can write a few kind words.

Let's move from sweet gifts to tasty and healthy gifts. For example, to nuts. Before giving such a gift, you need to find out if the person to whom this gift is intended has allergies. If not, then we begin to create a present. Include shelled walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews and any other nuts in the nut bag. You can diversify and decorate this mixture with dried anise and a few cinnamon sticks. For those with a sweet tooth, you can cook nuts in sugar; for this you will need 2 tbsp. butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp. water, 1/4 tsp. ground cumin, 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. salt. Fry the nuts in a dry frying pan, then remove them, melt the butter in the frying pan and add all the specified spices, cook the mixture for about 1 minute, then add the nuts, mix with the glaze and wait until the glaze turns golden. This nut mix looks great in leather or fabric bags, the main thing is that everything should be completely natural.

Perhaps the healthiest and sweetest gift is natural honey. But getting it in winter is not so easy. The fact is that natural honey, if it has not been heated and diluted with sugar syrup, at this time is already hopelessly candied, and you will have to bend more than one spoon trying to pick out a tasty gift for a close relative. However, you can buy honey in a beautiful jar or try heating your own a little in a water bath. Just as in the case of marmalade, you will need a beautiful transparent jar, as well as natural decorations in the form of anise and cinnamon sticks. Place the honey in a jar, stick a couple of cinnamon sticks into it, and put anise on top. The result will be an original, tasty, fragrant and very useful gift, which will come in handy during such a cold season.

If only everything were so simple with delicious gifts! But there will definitely be someone for whom sweets are not allowed, or someone who is on a diet and is not going to stop it at any cost. But you can also please such people with goodies. A wide variety of fruits are useful for this - oranges, tangerines, apples, pomelo, grapefruits, pears and in general anything your heart desires. But the presented package of apples does not look much like a gift, so even here you will have to make an effort to decorate it. It's best if you can find a small basket and decorate it with a wide ribbon. You will also have to tie each fruit with ribbons, and decorate the citrus fruits with clove seeds. Even the most picky people will be delighted with such a fragrant, tasty and healthy gift.

Over the many years we spent with our family and friends, we were given a lot of things, and every year we tirelessly continue to look for new ideas and invent something like that, while delicious gifts remain recognized classics. But even classics allow you to look for new tastes, shapes and methods of decoration, while remaining a universal gift that absolutely everyone likes. Experiment, get new ideas, and let your gift become the most unusual and memorable!

Liana Raimanova

Adult children are looking forward to the New Year holidays. They begin to prepare for the New Year tree long in advance. They decorate the apartments, think about the guest list and choose gifts. New Year is not complete without sweets. Every child looks forward to the New Year's package as a special miracle, and although the sweets there are the most ordinary, they still have a special taste. Often adults do not think about the internal contents of the gift, and New Year's gift bags for children are chosen only taking into account the appearance. Actually myself The composition of a children's New Year's bag is no less important. Therefore, when choosing a sweet present, you need to take everything into account.

How to choose packaging?

Packaging for sweets must meet certain conditions, namely:

  • be durable;
  • do not allow moisture to pass through;
  • do not contain toxic substances;
  • closes well;
  • be light in weight.

All bags for wrapping gifts for the New Year can be divided into three types: plastic, cellophane, paper. Each type has its own characteristics.

Polyethylene packaging

The packaging plastic bag for candies should have a New Year's design: a Christmas tree, animals and other New Year's characters.

Try rubbing the bag between your fingers. The paint should not remain on your hands. Children who are addicted to sweets will get dirty and chemicals will enter their bodies.

The package should not have the smell of paint or other foreign odors. Polyethylene must be intact, all its seams must be strong and not come apart. Check the handles: they need to be strong, otherwise the child will not bring the gift home, all his sweets will fall out. It’s good if the gift is bandaged, then it is protected from moisture and foreign debris getting inside.

Polyethylene New Year's packaging

Paper bag

A paper bag for New Year's gifts is less durable, but it is the most environmentally friendly packaging. It will not harm the environment, unlike polyethylene. Thanks to the special composition, the bag does not allow moisture to pass through, but it conducts air well, which allows the fruit in the bag not to spoil. It should also be tested for toxicity. High-quality packaging will not stain your hands and will not have a strong odor. Paper packaging for a New Year's gift considered the most popular in the world.

Plastic bag

Transparent cellophane gift bag. The child can easily see what is inside. In addition, cellophane breaks easily. If it is painted, check that it does not stain your hands and does not have a chemical smell. Cellophane protects food well from moisture, but it does not allow air to pass through. If fruits or sweets are stored in it for a long time, they may spoil. In terms of environmental safety, it is inferior to polyethylene.

Based on all that has been said, It is preferable to choose paper packaging. They are also made in the form of boxes, caskets, chests - so the child will receive not only candy, but also a beautiful toy.

How to choose the contents of the New Year's package?

Traders are always happy about the New Year holidays: they last a long time, and they manage to sell all the stale goods. Often, New Year's gifts for children include everything that has not been sold during the year. Thus, the gift includes even something that should not be there.

What may be included in the set?

Of course, first of all this chocolate. All children love him. The bars can be made from milk or dark chocolate. Candies with waffle and jelly filling are allowed. Maybe chocolate-covered halva, marshmallows and marshmallows. Iris is present only in circulation. Among flour products, waffles, cookies, and biscuits are allowed.

What should not be included in the kit?

The set should not contain sweets with fondant filling or fondant body; the presence of caramel and lollipops is not allowed. Viscous toffee should also not be present in the package.

Colored dragees (Skittles, for example) and confectionery products with hazardous ingredients (coffee, alcohol, spices, apricot kernels, dyes, sweeteners) are not allowed.

Read the gift label carefully. The product should not be expired or contain anything that should not be there.

Many manufacturers put the date of collection of the package instead of the expiration date of the package. It turns out that all the products are suitable for consumption, but the candies inside have long expired.

To avoid falling into such a trap, you can assemble the package yourself. Then you will know for sure that your child will not eat anything spoiled or not recommended.

There is no guarantee that a child will not receive an unsuitable bag of sweets as a gift for the New Year holidays. To prevent this, carefully examine the contents of the gift. Explain to your child why some sweets had to be removed.

Limit your consumption of sweets. You cannot eat the entire contents of the package at one time. The permissible amount of sweets per day should not exceed 50 g.

New Year's holidays bring many cases of poisoning or severe consequences of allergies in children. Choose the right New Year's gifts or collect them yourself, then the New Year will be without health consequences!
